Kuya's 9th Birthday

It is unbelievable that my baby boy just turned 9! He just used to be my little bundle of joy, Botchokoy. Now he’s almost as tall as I. It’s crazy how time flies.

For his special day, we planned to go to Petrosains because he's fascinated with science. But let me tell you about that a little bit later.

With our day starting late, we had late lunch at Yuzu, a Japanese restaurant. It’s our first time to dine there and we enjoyed the food so much we were stuffed like turkey.

Golden Roll

Norway Roll

Katsu Don

Ebi Ten and Tori Oyako Don

Ishiyaki Chicken and Tempura Set

Coffee Milkshake, Oreo Milkshake and Chocolate Milkshake

Right after we our hefty, hearty lunch, we went straight to Petrosains. We did not know that they close early and there’s a long queue as well so we didn’t get a chance to enter. We were saved by their free exhibit called ‘Street Smart’ by Petronas. The Street Smart is Petronas' way of educating the public especially kids about road safety. There were driving simulations on cars and motorcycles. The kiddos enjoyed it too.

Dinner was also special. We had dinner at Morganfield’s with our friends, the Macaluas. It was a lovely dinner catching up with our friends and former housemates.

Morganfield's never disappoints, this time we ordered their Christmas Platter with 4 types of ribs. Best pork and lamb in KL so far!

Cherry on the ice cream was gift opening. He opened one gift from us and one from Kuya Glenn and Kuya Ap.

Tried my best to make it a great day for the birthday boy and I hope I succeeded.

Thanks to the Macalua's for joining us for dinner and for the cake too. It was lovely. Thanks to our family as well for the gifts. It made Kuya's day really special.
