Baby number 2 turned 2 on November 23rd. We had a simple celebration by eating out at a restaurant we’ve never tried before. We went to Morganfield’s in Publika.
Publika is a family mall located in an upscale neighbourhood in Solaris Dutamas, Sri Hartamas.It is modern, chic and artsy. It has a wide variety of high-end clothing boutiques, novelty stores and restaurants.
Having been deprived of my favorite bbq pork ribs, we ate at Morganfield’s. I've been wanting to eat there since last year but didn't want to go alone.
Morganfield’s signature dish, Sticky Bones, is oh so yummy prime pork ribs that is mouth wateringly tender. Sticky Bones is a truly authentic, old-fashioned, prime prok ribs slow-cooked and smoked in coal and hickory wood to tender mouthwatering perfection, then basted with the gluey sweet-and-sour- tomato based home-made mopping sauce. Took me back to the days when we ate out regularly only to have pork bbq ribs.
We ordered their Carnivore platter that’s good for 3-4 people. We didn’t believe it at first as servings for western restaurants so far had been disappointing. To our surprise, it was indeed enough to feed 4 people. On top of it, "Kids eat for free" on weekends and holidays, so naturally, we ordered food for Kuya.
We enjoyed our delectable gastronomic experience and we are definitely coming back.
